My belated birthday package has arrived!

My father Ivan Fookinov and my sister Tomala gave me a belated birthday gift; a Pyle desk mount for my Blue Snowball microphone. She hooked it all up on to my computer desk.

After everything was set up I decided to do some testing on my mic while playing around some random community servers in TF2. I’m very satisfied with my new mic overall. I can use it to chat with my friends on Mumble, and record my own other projects and sounds. 🙂

I have also been recording some video footage of different games like TF2, Borderlands 2, Left 4 Dead 2, etc. Now I just need to plan on a project that provides voice-overs of various characters like the Heavy, Ellis, etc.

Wednesday Night Belated Birthday Dinner Open Thread

My apologies for not posting last couple days ago. Either way, my family and I went over to visit a friendly elderly family relative of ours at their house for dinner this evening.

We were chowing down on some yummy lasagna along with salad that they made, and then we enjoyed some chocolate cake with sprinkles on my belated birthday. Here’s the picture of my belated birthday cake:

I did receive a happy birthday card from them, and the birthday card contained a $25 Visa gift card. Awesome! Now I just need to save my gift card for the Steam Summer Sale this year. 🙂

Once again, my family and I lived for another day as always.

Time for a latest Stewie pic

I had my camera deployed the other day and took this nice pic of Stewie. He was happily resting on a pink blanket on the rocking chair:

Oh, and speaking of Stewie, let me tell you people a story about what he did wrong a few days ago. I was watching television in the living room while my father pitches a cat tent on the couch for Morty after placing his milk cup on the coffee table. Stewie hopped up on the coffee table just to watch my father working on a cat tent when suddenly he knocked my father’s milk cup off the table with his tail while he was skedaddling off there and into the dining room. Now the milk has been splattered on the carpet, so I yelled at him for that and he was like “What? What’s the big idea?”. My father was angry at Stewie for making a mess in the living room, and he just poured his full cup of milk too.

So yeah, that’s how Stewie got in trouble for spilling my father’s milk on the carpet. But that’s okay, he’ll remember not to do the same mistake again.

Wednesday Late Night Open Thread

There’s nothing major to report here and it was a busy day for me because I’ve been doing some yard work from out back such as raking and weed wacking. I got half of the weed trimming done in our backyard, and my dad took over the weed wacker to trim the other half down to lawn-mower.

Then we enjoyed some delicious sweet-and-sour chicken with rice for dinner earlier this evening but unfortunately I don’t have a picture of tonight’s dinner because I was too busy focusing on my food while spending time with my family. So tomorrow I’m going to be planning on drawing a Valentine’s Day-themed piece of artwork that people would happily love to see. 🙂

My Super Happy Birthday Celebration

My birthday started off with some healthy morning breakfast that my sister Tomala made earlier this morning:

She cooked up some delicious chocolate oatmeal along with some warm buttered toast and mint chocolate tea. Then later this evening we went to a local restaurant in town and chowed down some burgers and fries along with some good boozy drinks for dinner on my birthday.

After we came home from dinner we had some scrumptious slices of cake with peanut butter frosting for dessert. Here’s a picture of my birthday cake:

It was a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting with miniature chocolate chips on the top, and there were five candles on the right side forming the number five because we don’t have a candle that’s shaped like the number five.

On that note, I’ve had a very wonderful birthday celebration today. 🙂

Alxala Goes Underground

I’ve been testing out Need For Speed Underground under Windows 10 the other day, and so far the program and gameplay both seem to be behaving properly. The graphics and textures in this racing game are really nice, and what I like about this are the background sound effects, billboards and street signs. Here are a couple pictures of street signs in NFSU that are my most favorite:

The reason why I like the street signs is because they are much taller than the ones in Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2. 🙂 I’d say this is still a good old-school racing game to me, but I think Hot Pursuit 2 is way better than this. Oh, and what I also like about NFSU is you can move the cursor around during a race, which I find that very interesting.

More fun with Bawderlands Too & Tee Eff Too

A few days ago I’ve been playing around some more Borderlands 2 doing my level grinding as usual when suddenly I found another new Bandit Technical skin customization:

Plus I grabbed some guns that are good for my friends, and I decided to put them in my stash located in Sanctuary and sell the old Level 31 guns for some money. Then I moved on to some TF2 just to blow up some stuff, and I took a screenshot of something strange while I was on a random 2Fort server. It was me playing as Heavy eating my banana but it didn’t do the animation of the Heavy taking a bite of his food for whatever reason:

I’ve never seen a glitch like this before. I saw that and was like ‘Ummm… Why on Earth am I not eating my banana while I’m gaining health?’. Anyways, after I got done playing TF2 I decided to sell enough pieces of junk to purchase the Airdog, a team-colored snowboarding helmet with tinted goggles for the Scout, from the Steam market after selling enough junk in my inventory. This cosmetic will go great with my Aloha Apparel to make the Scout look like Special Ed from Crank Yankers:
