Thursday Evening Open Thread
Meh, I’m still not in a mood to post something. I’m just going to roast my bottom in the campfire while riding on my 8-bit beast of burden:
Ahhhh… nothing like a butt flambé to start up an open thread. 😛
Evening Fun Time with Columns III
Last night I came back to playing Columns III on my Steam Deck, and I have managed to defeat two more monsters which are this skeleton (shown above) and a treasure chest monster.
After defeating them I have earned some treasure chest items such as hourglasses (used as continues) and a magic barrier. I might come back to this game again and fight against even tougher monsters.
More Steam Deck Fun with Sonic Spinball
I’ve been playing some more Sonic Spinball on my Steam Deck, and I finally obtained three blue emeralds and defeated the first boss in the game:
I even managed to master the first bonus game too:
Now that I’ve completed the first level, I’mma go take a break from this game until I feel like playing it again. 🙂
Friday Evening Open Thread
Nothing much to write. I’ve been pretty much having fun playing old-school games on my Steam Deck such as Kingdom: New Lands, Columns III & Sonic Spinball.
Open Thread.
A Street Sign Named Desire
I’ve been making another piece of artwork in Adobe Illustrator this evening. Here’s a pic of my Dawn falling in love with a street sign during her trip to Olympic City:
It’s beautiful to love a street sign in a video game-style city. 😛
Steam Deck Fun with Kingdom: New Lands
I’ve been playing some Kingdom: New Lands on my Steam Deck lately, and I have managed to score two achievements the other day. One achievement for surviving day 10, and the other for clearing an acre of land by the seventh day.
I’m on day 15 right now, but I’ll take a break and plan on unlocking the ‘Day XV’ achievement the next time I come back to playing this game again. 🙂
Some Quack Tree and Chuckie Cat Footage
Hooray! I finally uploaded two videos on YouTube today. Enjoy!
You’re welcome.
Current Steam Deck Mood: Columns Tres!
I decided to check out Columns III: Revenge of Columns under Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Classics on my Steam Deck. It’s a competitive two player puzzle game which includes a single-player mode with a series of AI opponents such as spiders, bats and mummies.
If you win two matches against an AI opponent who has filled up their well full of jewels, you get to advance to the next level and face off with even tougher AI opponents. So far I have managed to defeat the first two which are a spider and a bat. Hooray!
But yeah, this game is like Columns meets Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine. 😛
I made an Alphabet Lore art thing
I’ve got nothing to talk about, so here’s another piece of art that I’ve been working on in Adobe Illustrator and Krita:
Some Steam Deck Fun with Columns
I’ve been playing some Columns under Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Classics on my Steam Deck, and so far I have managed to reach level 31 and get a final score of 245,414 points. Hooray!
After the game is over, the score list will pop up and show you your scores:
I gotta admit, this is really a fun match-three puzzle game. 😀
