Let’s Go Raid Some Tombs

I dug up another classic game that I wanted to try out besides Quake: Tomb Raider. Not the DOS version, I’m talking about the Windows DirectX version. I managed to make my way past the first two levels in the game, and what I like about this are Lara’s angry face while she’s shooting and some various cool-looking textures. 😛

I’d say this is one of the best classical third-person shooters in history, and I like the cutscenes in this game too. 🙂

Welcome to the Metro (again)

I played some Metro 2033 Redux last night, and it looks quite similar to the original. What I like about this game is it has various features throughout the game like notes that are scattered around in different areas, keys and safes, weapon customizing, and it even has a feature that I can wipe blood off my gas mask. Now that is bloody good! 🙂 The graphics in this game look so nice just like in the original. Some weapons have different firing sounds like the automatic shotgun and the AK-47, and Artyom’s voice sounded completely different compared to the original.

I was hoping for Metro Exodus to become available soon so I can add it to my Steam library.

In tonight’s post: Epic Fails on Ellen’s ‘Game of Games’

After I played some Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and a few other games that I’ve recently played like Portal Stories: Mel, Quake and Tomb Raider, I was watching a video from the Ellen DeGeneres Show that includes various ‘Game of Games’ contestants giving the wrong answers and failing miserably:

I lol’d at the one part right at the very end where a female contestant plays a game called Hot Hands, where you can win money by guessing the correct name of the famous celebrity shown in the picture, but she fails to reach $100,000 and tells Ellen she’s sorry so many times because she doesn’t know any correct celeb names just about. 😛

Happy Birthday to Ellen!

Today is Ellen DeGeneres’ 60th birthday! Here’s a video I found on the Ellen Show that includes two of her favorite kid stars known as Sophia Grace and Rosie wishing Ellen a happy birthday:

Wow, those two cute princesses must’ve grown up quite well. 🙂 Oh, and speaking of that, I decided to remake them in Scribblenauts tonight:

Checking out some more Game Boy roms

I found some more Game Boy roms that I remembered playing original arcade versions of them from awhile back:

Dig Dug
Asteroids
Missile Command

Plus I grabbed another Game Boy rom that’s really fun to play:

Wordtris

Yep, I had a really fun time murdering enemies and creating words. 🙂
