Let’s Talk About Number Match For Ze Roku

Last month I was playing another free Roku game called Number Match, a game where the objective is to match two numbers that have the same value or the sum of both is equal to 10. Unfortunately there is no screenshot of the actual gameplay but it does include two options: add rows of numbers and use hints. I finally managed to win this game with a lowest score possible which is 70, and what I like about this game is the beautifully mellow music with sounds of ocean waves in it. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’d say this is a simply fun number matching game for me, and I love it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I Made Moar Robots In Scribblenauts

Guess what I’ve been doing this afternoon?

Robotboy, Robotgirl and Astro Boy have come to Scribblenauts!

I even created my own version of the Terminator endoskeleton:

Anyways, those four robot characters are now added to my collection. Feel free to check them out today!

Shootin’ and Glitchin’ Some Bubbles

Yesterday I was playing a different free Roku game and that is Bubble Shooter, where you match 3 or more bubbles in the playfield to make them pop. Here’s what the gameplay of Bubble Shooter looks like:

You can also unlock bombs in the main menu and use them to pop lots of bubbles, and I was doing a trick by using a few bombs to clear a playfield from all bubbles which causes the game to glitch while new bubbles randomly appear and disappear multiple times as you score a gigantic amount of points. However, if you do this trick too often then the game will slow down and eventually either take you back to the Home screen or completely lock up frozen solid which causes the Roku to restart.

So far I have reached the final score of over a million points before the game decided to have a stroke. But yeah, I always thought this crazy fun game looks similar to the Puzzle Bobble games except this has no video game characters in it.

Current Two-in-One Roku Gaming Mood: Air Hockey and Color Bowl

I’ve been having fun with two Roku games on my TV the other day.

This first one is called Air Hockey, which is a Pong-like tabletop game where you and a computer player try to score goals against each other on a low-friction table using two handheld discs (or mallets) and a lightweight plastic puck. Here’s what the gameplay of Air Hockey looks like:

I have easily crushed the computer player with a score of 187 points. I’m an Air Hockey wizard! ๐Ÿ˜€

This next Roku game I was playing is called Color Bowl, where you play as a colored bowling ball and the objective is to match colors of red, green or blue. Here’s what the gameplay of Color Bowl looks like:

You score one point for a regular colored ball, and two points for a colored ball with a white stripe in the middle. However; the game is over if your current colored ball touches the wrong color. So far I did pretty good and got a score of 148 points. Hooray for me!

Checking Out Something New: Resonite

I decided to check out Resonite, which is similar to VRChat. I have been checking out the tutorials on how to do stuff like drawing things using paint tools, controlling the sun with the sun gun, resizing things to make them bigger or smaller than their normal size, etc.

The Ace of Spades has grown bigger!

I can also import 3D model files from my computer in the game. For example:

This is a model of Jenny the Robot from Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots. She’s giving me a happy hug. ๐Ÿ™‚

I even did a little bit of target practice just for fun before I end my fun in this game for tonight.

I was thinking about hanging out with my friends in this game someday, and maybe make a couple avatars for myself. That would be super fun!

Have Another Sheet Of The Sprite Type

I forgot to put up this Game Boy sprite sheet of mine the other day. It contains title screen sprites from Chiki Chiki Tengoku:

Oh, and I also reached 3,000+ sprite sheets in my VG Resources profile:

Anyways, I’m heading off to do my celebration before doing the bed thing. Ciao!

Playing Some Tetris But With Japanese Fairies

I decided to check out a Japanese Tetris-based puzzle game for the Game Boy called Chiki Chiki Tengoku, and the main objective in this game is to line up 3 or more different objects that descend onto the playing field which turn into stars while clearing the remaining others. Once the player completes a row of stars or more, the stars turn into fairies and the other remaining stars will be cleared out. Here’s a screenshot of the actual gameplay:

Another thing in this game is that the fairies can’t fly away from the playing field until the objects above them are either turned into stars or cleared from play. This game has positive abilities such as object transformers and rockets, and it also has a negative ability which is a diamond-shaped piece of brick, and if you make a row of them it takes up part of the playing field. Oh no!

Anyways, I have managed to clear levels from 1-1 to 3-4. Hooray!

Oh, and what I like about this game is there’s an in-game screensaver where fairies keep flying upwards every time a player clears a level. I love it! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m now on level 4-2 in this game, and I think I’ll call it here for tonight. But yeah, this is a pretty fun puzzle game made from Japan. ๐Ÿ™‚
