I Heart Seeding Dandelions *again*

Last week I was outside in my backyard on a search for some flowers when all of the sudden… I found a beautiful seeding dandelion:

This dandelion is about three feet tall and it has a supply of parachute seeds that form into a fuzzy, white puffball that has a nice smell to it.

Yep, I still love those kind of flowers which they can also be used for wishing. 😛 Anyways, my new camera has already arrived so that I can take much better pics with it before we go on a family road trip since my vacation is coming up tomorrow. 🙂

Having fun with Jokamel and his Diamonds

I got back into playing some Pokemon Diamond on my DeSmuME this evening, and I have managed to evolve two of the Tyrogue that I caught last night into Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan, which I nicknamed them Bruce and Jackie after the two famous movie actors that were karate experts back then:

I think I’ll plan on doing some Pokemon Pearl while my family and I are on a road trip because I need to build up some progress since it’s been a long time and I’ve only got past the beginning in that game.

I Heart Seeding Dandelions

I apologize for not posting yesterday because I’ve been too busy doing a few chores around the house. Either way, here’s a picture of something that I found in our backyard that I forgot to put up on my blog the other day:

It was a very tall seeding dandelion. It’s about three feet tall, and has a large supply of umbrella seeds on the dandelions forming a big white puffball:

This flower smells really nice just like all the other flowers in the world of nature. I’m deeply in love with these kind of flowers. 🙂

I Heart Shiny Pokémans

Sorry for not posting yesterday because I’ve been getting too tired to blog about something. Anyways, I’ve been playing some more Pokémon Diamond and guess what I found while leveling up my Pokémans?

It was a Pelipper, which is a 3rd generation evolution Pokémon of Wingull, but it’s a shiny one because it has three green digits on each of its wings instead of blue. Its feet with three webbed digits are also green instead of blue.

I felt so excited after catching that shiny creature. 🙂

I got new Pokémans! Yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

I awoke from my sleep earlier this morning to play some more Pokemon Diamond after getting done eating my breakfast, and guess what I’ve been doing lately?

I finally encountered a wild Munchlax from a honey tree, and I successfully managed to catch it with a single Poké Ball attempt. It was a male Munchlax, and I decided to name him Gaben which is named after my male Snorlax from Pokémon Leaf Green Version for the Game Boy Advance:

The reason why I nicknamed him Gaben is because that is based on the nickname given to Gabe Newell. 😛

Last Open Thread of the Month

I have managed to complete my nature-related collection earlier this afternoon after pulling up some unwanted weeds and fake grass out back especially the ones from yesterday that my father mowed down some tall grass with the weed wacker. It was a collection of seeding dandelion puffballs that I carefully stored them all in my small rectangular wooden box without knocking the parachute seeds loose, and so far I counted a total of 24 puffballs. Here’s a picture of what I’m talking about:

So now I’ve got a good batch of white fuzzy puffy bubbles in a box. 😛 Anyways, my family and I enjoyed some delicious hot dogs that my mother cooked up for dinner since we had hamburgers for yesterday’s dinner. My compliments to the chef that hot dogs and hamburgers are both exquisitively delicious as long as they’re homemade. 🙂

After I got done eating dinner I went down in the garage to help my father mount two fittings from under the Mustang while I move to the passenger’s side of it and turn the tubes to the right several times in order to complete the process. Either way, we got all that car work done and out of the way for the night.

Open Thread! Have at it, ppl!

Monday Evening Open Thread: Backyard Work Edition

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I’ve been too busy having a good time playing some community servers in TF2. Either way, today’s weather was really nice this evening. I decided to continue my yard work mission in our backyard with a red-handled screwdriver from our tool shed in the garage, and I used it to pull up a lot of unwanted weeds scattered in different locations from yesterday and today. Then I placed all the weeds into the compost pile used for gardening afterwards.

It sure was fun trying to pulling up weeds off the ground, especially crabgrass because those are really hard to get. Oh, and speaking of weeds, here’s a picture of another seeding dandelion that I found in our backyard next to the chain-like fence between our backyard and our neighbors’:

This seeding dandelion I found is two feet tall, and it has a lot of tiny parachute seeds that form a white good-sized puffball just like the previous one that I found almost three weeks ago:

Yep, I sure love those kind of weed flowers so much. 🙂

Have A Very, Very Tall Seeding Dandelion

I took a picture of some kind of weed flower a few days ago at about 1 o’ clock in the afternoon after getting all ready for that day. I found this extremely tall seeding dandelion that was located in our backyard next to a chain-like fence between our backyard and our neighbors’:

This dandelion is about three feet tall. It has a lot of tiny parachute seeds that form a good-sized white puffball that has a really nice smell to it:

That’s a few good reasons why I love these kind of flowers: Super tallness, large puffballs and their smell. 😀 But right now we’re trying to decimate as many dandelions and other tall weed flowers as possible by putting down some poisonous weed killer on them so they can droop little by little at a time and die. Oh, on another note our lawnmower men showed up earlier this morning and finally managed to mow down lots of tall weeds in our neighbors’ backyard after they finished mowing our lawn. At least they solved our weed problem because now we have less weeds to kill. 🙂

The Great Underground Treasure Hunt

I found the red spheres.

Yesterday I decided to get out my Explorer Kit to go underground treasure hunting in Pokemon Diamond, and so far I managed to find a huge mound of colorful spheres, some fossils, and other kinds of treasure while disarming some traps along the way. I also spent some spheres to a Hiker who’s giving out Secret Room Goods and got myself a giant Snorlax doll and a Research Shelf. Sweet! 😀

And what I like about the Underground is the treasured plates of some Pokemon types that boosts the power of some attack moves. Here’s a few of them that I’ve found:

Mind Plate (Psychic-type)

Iron Plate (Steel-type)

Splash Plate (Water-type)

Either way, it was a lot of fun trying to dig up the underground treasures. 🙂

I caught a Shiny Watermelon Bat

Last night after defeating a couple more gym leaders and Team Galactic Commander Saturn in Pokemon Diamond, I managed to catch my first shiny Pokemon. It was a shiny Golbat located in a cave:

It’s got shiny colors of a watermelon.

Wow, I felt so amazed when that happened. 😀
