Wednesday Late Night Open Thread
There’s nothing new to report tonight other than having a fairly decent day. We had some delicious taco stuff for dinner earlier this evening along with the ‘watermelon’ cake for dessert. Here’s what the cake looks like:
It has red frosting on the top, green frosting along the edges, and it’s sprinkled with chocolate chips to make the cake look like a watermelon. 😛
Once again, the Slackers have managed to live another day. Open thread!
Friday Evening Open Thread: Operation Dinner Assistant
I was assisting San_San in the kitchen on getting ready for dinner. I mashed up the guacamole, stirred up the salsa that San made, and then used the food processor for the first time to shred some cheese with it.
We had some tacos along with some tortilla chips for dinner but unfortunately I do not have a picture of it because I was too busy spending time eating with my family, which is a good family activity to do. 🙂

Belated St. Patty’s Family Dinner Open Thread
My family and I stopped at an Irish themed restaurant this evening for our belated St. Patrick’s Day celebration. We tried going inside and looking for an open table but the restaurant was crowded with a several dozen people and there was not a single open table for us, so we decided to go eat outdoors instead.
Anyway, we chowed down on delicious Fish n Chips, and ordered some ice-cold boozy drinks while San_San ordered hot tea.
I gotta admit, that was a great (Slacker’s) St. Patty’s Day family dinner for us. Oh, and we also lived for another day too. 🙂
Final Open Thread of the Year
This year has been a really rough one than last year. It went from the notoriously evil orange shit-stain celebrating National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month in January to him blowing up the Wall Street stock market, shutting down the government and continuing the government shutdown until he gets a border wall. However, he will be impeached next year so that he will quit trying to blow up our country and hopefully receive life in prison without parole.
I gotta tell you, this year sucked balls just like the last two years. Now let’s hope next year will be a better year for us.
Short Wednesday Evening Open Thread
We went to go see the belated holiday light show festival this evening, and we got some video footage of some things like the fire-breathing Christmas Lochness Monster, Golfing Santa, gingerbread men playing volleyball and all the others until the rain started falling down. So that’s our cue to leave the light show, but at least we had a good time over there. 🙂
After we got back home from the light show we had delicious cheeseburgers and fries that San_San and Papa Smurf picked up at a restaurant for dinner. Once again, we all lived for another day.

Saturday Evening Open Thread: Hard Drive Switcheroonie
Sorry for not posting much for the last few days. Yesterday I’ve been copying more than 250GB of Steam games and other stuff off of my old hard drives and into my new ones, and also relocating my stuff from my Quick Access library after finishing copying files.
So far everything on my computer appears to be behaving normally after doing the hard drive swap. 🙂 So now I just need to re-link the Steam game paths, move a few games from one Steam drive to the other to free up space and whatnot.

Monday Late Night Open Thread
I’ll be away temporarily because Papa Smurf is going to be working on my computer in the garage for latest Windows 10 updates, overclocking and Intel stress testing. So I shall return either later this evening or tomorrow when it’s all up-to-date.

Wednesday Open Thread: Tiny Hat Edition
San_San showed me how to make miniature hats by using pieces of empty paper towel rolls earlier this afternoon, some colorful yarn and a few cottonballs. Here’s a picture of the miniature hats that I made:
After getting done making the mini hats, I got outside and did some work in the backyard with Dad. I was dumping the yard waste along the fence next to the creek while he rakes it up and then shoveling them in the bucket until it’s full so that I can dump it out. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of the dam filled with yard waste but we got most of it taken care of and we’ll do the rest of it hopefully tomorrow. 🙂

Tuesday Evening Open Thread
There’s not a whole lot to report on tonight. San_San and I went to grab groceries from Fred Meyer this evening, and then we got home and went through the whole receipt to check for bought items before putting them away. I guess that shopping trip went really quick. 🙂

Sunday Garage Wood Work Open Thread
I’ve been doing some wood sawing in the garage lately with the help of my dad. He needed me to get this done so he can use the bandsaw to cut the pieces of wood into wooden arcs. I snapped a picture of them right here:
He’s gonna be using them to put together an outdoor decoration for a house owned by a friendly person whose friends with some friend of ours. Either way, it was a really good wood sawing workout. It helps me build stronger muscles. 🙂
