Technical Difficulties
There wasn’t much to report today. We had two power outages last night because of the strong storms. I switched off the computer tower because the lights were starting to flicker, and obviously the internet was down due to the power outages, and then the radio decided to go dead for a while.
Our cat Stewie is afraid of storms, so Papa Smurf turned on the dehumidifier and the entertainment center radio so that Stewie would be happy to listen to the noises. Oh, and speaking of Stewie. I snapped a cute pic of him the other day:

I have been watching a couple of videos on YouTube this afternoon, and I want to share them with you. First, this video from the Late Show where Stephen is talking about President Tangerine Mussolini, George W. Bush, spiders, etc.:

I like the one joke where Brian is talking about dropping planeloads of boots on the soldiers, totally funny.

Afternoon Open Thread
There wasn’t much to report today. I went to do a couple of chores this afternoon because we’re gonna have a house inspection soon. First one is cleaning the kitchen floor by sweeping the crap up, washing it with a damp rag and some soap, rinsing it, and then drying it off with a towel. The other is brushing the carpets in the living room, the hallway and my bedroom so that Papa Smurf can run the vacuum and hit them with it. I hate doing chores, but they need to be done right away.

I went to on YouTube and watched a couple of videos from The Ellen DeGeneres Show involving Ellen’s new animated original series called Ellen’s Pet Dish. It’s about her and Portia de Rossi’s talking pets watching some best moments from the show:
My most favorite part is the one where a male dog is telling jokes to the other pets, and he is giving them answers that rhyme with Oprah.
