Some fun with Crypt of the NecroDancer
Last night I was playing a Steam game called Crypt of the NecroDancer, a strategic rogue-like rhythm game where your character can move to the music while trying to defeat various enemies such as slime and evil monkeys, buying some things at the shop and finding the exit after killing a random mini-boss in different levels.
It’s like the old-school Windows game Castle of the Winds but with a dance beat twist to it, and what I like about it is you can spend diamonds that you found for unlocking certain things and you can add songs from your own MP3 collection too. Even the graphics and animation in this game look quite stylistic like Broforce and Kingdom.
I’d say this is a good game but not as great as Broforce though. But it’s very fun to play and learn to dance in sequential patterns to the rhythm. 🙂
Monday Late Night Open Thread: Lime Curry and Chili Doge Edition
My sister Tomala made us some green chicken curry with rice noodle for lunch earlier this afternoon after I got done doing some yard work. Here’s a picture of what she made:
The ingredients in it are cut chicken breasts, potatoes, broccoli and other green veggies. It was spicy but very exquisite. 🙂 Then we enjoyed some chili dogs with sliced pears that San_San prepped up for dinner this evening:
Tonight’s dinner was very delicious too, and even the pears taste quite juicy. My compliments to the chefs. 🙂
Have a gingerbread fairy tale character
I drew another piece of artwork for tonight after enjoying yummy homemade roast beef sandwiches for dinner with my family. It was a hybrid of Little Red Riding Hood and a gingerbread man known as Lil’ Gingerhood:
Yep, that is one deliciously happy fairy tale cookie. 😛
Technical Difficulties in a Nutshell
Last night we lost the internet while I was playing around some TF2 but we still have an internet connection according to our modem and router even though we’re not connected, completely odd. We’ve tried everything from resetting the modem and router to pinging the Google website in an MS-DOS program but it was an absolute no-go. But whatever it was, it was a big connection issue because we noticed that the internet from Medford all the way to Yakima has gone offline for whatever reason.
And now for no reason here is tonight’s GMod screenshot of Princess Anna wearing a white Bill’s Hat, grey summer shades and a Christmas wreath badge:
A Very Happy Nacho Day Celebration in Scribblenauts
Here’s a latest Scribblenauts picture of my two new custom Maxwell siblings named Ringo (in red) and Bubba (in blue) celebrating Nacho Day:
The reason why is because my family and I enjoyed some nachos for dinner the other day. Nachos rule! 🙂
HEEEEEEEEEERE’S BILLY!!!
Here’s a picture that I drew for tonight of Big Billy, a happy male blue-eyed military general wearing a bright white beret on his head:
The reason why I did that is because my Bill’s Hat in my Team Fortress 2 inventory now has An Extraordinary Abundance of Tinge paint color applied to it.
My National Forest Fire Story
My family and I went to go visit the Willamette National Forest earlier this afternoon to check out the fire damage from there because we had a couple of major wildfires that burned a bunch of acres back in 2017 and 2018 due to lightning strikes and/or people who ignite fires. Here are a few pictures of various trees that got charred after the 2017 wildfires:
We got really lucky back then because the fire was heading towards our town after burning about 50,000 acres from the Horse Creek Complex and Jones fires but the firefighters and heavy rains have managed to put out the fiery blaze of destruction for good.
Oh, and while we were heading back home I activated my camera and snapped a picture of a squirrel at the edge of the road minding its own business:
Yep, that is one cute squirrel with a nice fluffy tail. 🙂
Time for another Stewie pic
A few days ago I took this cute cat pic from of Stewie resting on a blanket at the top of the stairs since tomorrow is his birthday:
He’ll be turning eight years old (or 56 in cat years).
