Welcome to the Metro (again)

I played some Metro 2033 Redux last night, and it looks quite similar to the original. What I like about this game is it has various features throughout the game like notes that are scattered around in different areas, keys and safes, weapon customizing, and it even has a feature that I can wipe blood off my gas mask. Now that is bloody good! 🙂 The graphics in this game look so nice just like in the original. Some weapons have different firing sounds like the automatic shotgun and the AK-47, and Artyom’s voice sounded completely different compared to the original.

I was hoping for Metro Exodus to become available soon so I can add it to my Steam library.

Tuesday Road Trip Open Thread

Today was a nice day. My family and I went out on another Coos Bay road trip to go grab some clam chowder, fish and chips at a restaurant called The Crazy Norwegian. That stuff is extremely finger-licking delicious. 🙂 Oh, while we were heading back to our homestead, we pulled over and I got out my camcorder and took nice pictures of a great sunset at the beach and a boat out on the water:

So anyways, our really long road trip went well as always. 😀

Friday Open Thread with moar cat pix!

It was another decent night from here. I decided to continue Shadow Warrior and managed to complete the eighth chapter after eviscerating dozens of killer demons and found more secrets along the way. I think I’ll get back into some more Wang Time whenever I feel like unleashing my inner Wang. 😛

Oh, I did get more nice camcorder photos of the adorably handsome kitteh duo:

Anyways, let’s get this Open Thread going tonight!

In tonight’s post: Epic Fails on Ellen’s ‘Game of Games’

After I played some Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and a few other games that I’ve recently played like Portal Stories: Mel, Quake and Tomb Raider, I was watching a video from the Ellen DeGeneres Show that includes various ‘Game of Games’ contestants giving the wrong answers and failing miserably:

I lol’d at the one part right at the very end where a female contestant plays a game called Hot Hands, where you can win money by guessing the correct name of the famous celebrity shown in the picture, but she fails to reach $100,000 and tells Ellen she’s sorry so many times because she doesn’t know any correct celeb names just about. 😛
