The War on Burritos

Today’s weather turned out to be quite decent this evening. We had some delicious emergency burritos that my father made for dinner, and speaking of burritos I made this pic of a squadron of mustached burritos with sombrero parachutes blowing up the United States:

Looks like the Mexicans are at it again. 😛

Tuesday Evening Open Thread

It was a cold this evening. We had San_San’s friend coming over for dinner at our house for a visit. We chowed down on some spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. Our friend brought over some brownies that she made for dessert:

They’re quite delicious and so was tonight’s dinner. 🙂 Now, for no strange reason, here’s another one of my latest Scribblenauts inventions:

President Orange Jello

Thursday Night Open Thread

It was a decent evening. We went to a Mexican restaurant along with our visitor from Australia, and we chowed down some delicious Mexican food, plus Tomala and I had our cocktails that we ordered. 🙂 Then I dug back into some old-school Quake after we got home, plus I took this epic screenshots in-game from awhile back:

A grenade-launching chainsaw Ogre killed a Fiend in mid-air. 😛

So anyway, we lived for another day.

Thanksgiving Dinner in a Cake?!

I’ve been watching this video from Rachael Ray that includes a disgusting Thanksgiving dinner cake since Thanksgiving is almost here:

No, thanks. I’ll just stick to eating the Thanksgiving dinner separately like everyone else.

Friday Evening Open Thread

Today is a cold, rainy evening here. My sister Tomala made us grilled ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches for breakfast this morning.

I got to admit, they’re really delicious. 🙂 Then I got on the Roku this afternoon to play games for a little bit, and catch up to my favorite TV shows on Hulu for a few hours after that. I sure had a good afternoon today. 😀

And now for no reason here’s a random Gmod picture from awhile back:

A perfect birthday cake for me

Since my upcoming birthday will begin in less than a week, I thought I’d share this recipe video of a peanut butter cup cake from The Rachael Ray Show. It’s a cake with peanut butter cream cheese frosting, chocolate ganache and some chopped chocolate peanut butter cups on top.

Now this will be my birthday cake. 🙂

This kind of Chicken & Waffles recipe is 100% crap

Last night, I was watching a Rachael Ray Show clip on YouTube and I found this story on how to make classic southern Chicken & Waffles with buttermilk, blue cheese and a buffalo-whiskey sauce:

I like both chicken AND waffles but not together and oh my god, that kind of recipe makes me wanna vomit.
