I decided to get back into some Quake but instead I’m inside a Quake map in GMod. While I’m in there I made my new background pic of what I’ve been working on lately:
It was me resurrecting a Quake 2 Tank Commander from the dead and adopting it as my heavily armored and armed pet of destruction. 😛 Plus I got more where that came from on my Steam profile if anyone of you Slackers are interested.
I decided to jump back into Hipnotic this evening and have successfully finished it by defeating the final boss known as Armagon. Wasting time and winning is a good combination. 😉
It was a decent evening. We went to a Mexican restaurant along with our visitor from Australia, and we chowed down some delicious Mexican food, plus Tomala and I had our cocktails that we ordered. 🙂 Then I dug back into some old-school Quake after we got home, plus I took this epic screenshots in-game from awhile back:
A grenade-launching chainsaw Ogre killed a Fiend in mid-air. 😛
So anyway, we lived for another day.
Finally! I managed to upload a YouTube video from Quake where I killed a Fiend who’s stuck in its pouncing attack animation:
I decided to torture myself by playing some Quake tonight, and so far I made my way to Limbo after fighting off dozens of enemies in Pandemonium. I even took various screenshots that are really epic:

Now I just need to make my way to Armagon’s Lair, so I can track him down and kick his ass. But that will wait until the next time I play this game. 🙂
I decided to tear into some Quake tonight and managed to obtain all four runes so that I can face off against the final boss known as Shub-Niggurath. The only way to kill Shub-Niggurath is to wait for the spiky ball teleporter to go inside of her, then run to the portal to go inside her and she’ll explode:
Goodbye Shub-Niggurath!
BOOM! She’s been blown up.
I’ll check out some Quake mods that I will try out like Hipnotiq and Rogue but that’ll have to wait until I feel like playing Quake again. But at least the final boss fight was bloody fun. 😀

I thought that was a cool thing to see. 😀 Anyway, I have completed the first chapter in the game by obtaining the first rune and defeating a giant lava monster known as Chthon. So now I’m in the second chapter of the game and I made it to the Ebon Fortress so far. I will continue playing more of this tomorrow.
