Have a Cobbler of the Cherries
Here’s a picture of the cherry cobbler that my Mom and I made for dessert the other day:
Mmmmmm… that cherry cobbler was good stuff. ๐
Operation Cookie Fun Time
My Mom and I were baking a batch of peanut butter cookies the other day. I’d say we did a good job doing that. ๐
Have A Pizza Photo For Dinner
My mother and I made two batches of pizza for dinner the other day, and I snap’d a picture of the pizzas because they look awesome:
It’s got black olives, pineapples, pepperoni & Canadian bacon on the pizza. So yeah, it was good stuff. ๐
ALLAHU FOOD-BAR!
I survived my nightmare shift after doing some web-based computer learning and other work stuff on a warm, sunny afternoon. I had a nicely cool shower, and then I decided to play food terrorist by combining the last of the Flamin’ Hot Nacho Doritos with some taco stuff:
The reason why is because I’ve been watching a little bit of Rachael Ray during my break, and she was making a recipe for BBQ nachos which are nachos topped with melted cheese sauce and barbecued pork in which I find that really disgusting. ๐คฎ
I’m still thinking long and hard about what kind of food substance that Tomala and I are going to make for dinner, Rachael Ray-style. ๐
WE’RE ALL GONNA LIVE!!!
I am thinking one of these days in the future I’ll be teaming up with my sis Tomala to focus on making something for dinner during our weekend, but this time we’re doing it the Rachael Ray way since I’m still a huge fan of that talk show just like my mother San_San. Hopefully it’s some kind of “terrorist” food that doesn’t try to kill us all or include eggplant, basil or cilantro. ๐
But in the meantime, I’ll be doing even more Bawderlandz Dos for tonight before focusing on doing the bed thing and heading on over to Dreamsville.
In tonight’s post: Monday Open Thread of the Night
After clocking out of work for the day I decided to use up my $5 off coupon to purchase a few things: a bottle of Coca-Cola Zero, a bag of Lay’s potato chips and a York peppermint patty which I saved it after dinner. So now I’m going to be doing my first Turn n’ Burn because I go to work at noon tomorrow and get off at 9 in the evening just to eat something and head straight to bed, then the day after tomorrow I go back to my regular work schedule from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
But in the meantime, enjoy this open threadening you fellow Slackers while I get a good night’s rest inside my own headquarters. ๐
I’M HUNGRY FOR BREAKFAST! YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!
My sister Tomala made some healthy breakfast for the both of us from yesterday and today. The first one is oatmeal with different kinds of fruit like cherries, blueberries, cranberries and freshly chopped banana:
I’d say this is quite delicious and it’s got cinnamon, maple syrup, brown sugar, pralines and a little pinch of salt as the main ingredients. Then here’s the next one which is oatmeal but with sort of a Hawaiian twist to it:
This kind of oatmeal was made earlier this morning. The main ingredients for it are vanilla extract, brown sugar, another sliced banana, juicy pineapple chunks, walnuts, strawberries, pineapple and mango chunks. I call it ‘The Special Ed Oatmeal’. ๐
Either way, my compliments to the Overlord chef.
The Ceramic Bowl Incident with a cute Morty pic
My family and I had some chili and corn muffins for dinner this evening after our home inspection is a success, and while I was having my second round of dinner I heard one of my sister Tomala’s ceramic bowls fall off the top of our microwave in the kitchen, landed on the kitchen table causing the bowl to shatter into bits and pieces. So we got up the broom and dustpan to clean up all the tiny ceramic shards by using the broom to sweep them into the dustpan and then straight into the trash. It appears that all the ceramic bowls were stacked in awkward positions according to my dad.
Anyways, here is a nice cat pic from last month of this handsome little guy being a couch weasel:
Monday Evening Open Thread
My sister Tomala made some biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and tri tip steak for breakfast earlier this morning:
She also made hot white watermelon tea to go along with our breakfast:
Then I jumped back into playing some more Borderlands 2 this evening just to up myself a bit, and so far I’m getting closer to Level 38 as Mechromancer. ๐ After I got done playing, I used a little bit of Borderlands 2 video footage in Shotcut to make an animated GIF of a Spiderant Queen minding its own business when suddenly it got blown up by a single sniper bullet up its thorax:
Either way, my Dad will go to the bank tomorrow to pick up some money and then my dad and I will run over to Fred Meyer to do our soda can deposit so I can put two-thirds of my cash in my Steam wallet to buy some cool games in the Steam Winter Sale and keep one-third of my money in the bank.
Early Thanksgiving Open Thread
We had our friendly elderly visitor coming over to our house earlier this evening and enjoyed some delicious Thanksgiving dinner which is turkey with cranberries, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, candied yams and artichokes. Here’s the screenshot of the Thanksgiving dinner while spending time with the whole family:
This was good food on a happy early Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to watch this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow if there is a live stream for it available on YouTube. ๐
