Some Holiday Fun with GMod
I’ve been goofing around in GMod this evening, and I decided to make my own version of Rambo:
I called him Santa Rampool, which he looks like Deadpool but with the candy canes on his back. Happy Holidays? 😛
Steam Autumn Sale Open Thread
I noticed that there’s a Steam Autumn Sale going on today. I haven’t purchased anything yet, but I’m still thinking about it. However, I did receive a new badge for the Steam Awards Nomination Committee this year after completing every single task which are nominating at least one game, nominating a game in all ten categories, playing and writing (or updating) my review for a game I’ve nominated. 🙂
So now I have all the games nominated in every category and ready to be picked in this year’s Steam Awards. And now to cross my fingers and hope for the best while I activate Sleep Mode…
Current Illustrator Mood: Squeaky Cleaning Company
Yesterday I got bored so I did some Adobe Illustrator and made my own version of the crime scene cleaning company logo based on the one from the video game Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Here’s a picture of what I’m talking about:
The reason why is because it just doesn’t hurt to do so… but cleaners with guns do though. 😛
Current Gaming Mood: Max Payne 2
Instead of playing some TF2 or GMod I decided to play around some Max Payne 2 since it’s been a while. Although the game is Max Payne and you play as Max, for four levels you play as another character named Mona Sax. Here are some screenshots of things during the gameplay:
It’s an old game but what I like about Max Payne 2 are the ragdoll physics:
I have managed to battle my way against dozens of gun-toting cleaners including the boss cleaner named Kaufman. I made my way to the Prologue level in the Part 2 where Max Payne is at the police station. There he pays a visit to Mona Sax, who’s being locked up in a jail cell for murdering some cleaners.
Now to think about what to play next… 😛
Hooray! Another New TF2 “Hat” Drop for me!!!
I decided to play around some TF2 for tonight when all of the sudden I have a new cosmetic as a random item drop which is a mustache for all classes:
I felt so happily amazed when I got that. 😀
Current Gaming Mood: Mortal Kombat 11
Last night I decided to check out the Krypt in Mortal Kombat 11. After being greeted by some old, evil sorcerer you enter the Krypt, and start off with a powerful sledgehammer.
There’s a buttload of coins as you go around searching for loot chests scattered in different areas while trying to avoid getting annihilated by evil monsters that are hungry for human mortals. So far I have collected a bunch of stuff like skins, cosmetics and artwork of various characters.
I’m thinking one of these times I will invite my sis Tomala to a game of MK11 just for bloody fun. 🙂
Playing around a bit of Namco Museum 64
I was checking out Namco Museum 64 on Der Project 64 emulator. It’s a Nintendo 64 game where you can play 6 arcade games starting with Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaxian, Galaga, Dig Dug and Pole Position.
The reason why I snagged that to add to my collection of N64 games is because I remember playing Namco Museum Volumes 1 and 3 on the original Playstation back in the old days. They’re a lot of fun! 😀
Here’s something I made for the holiday
In tonight’s post: Meet the Female Cleaners
Here’s what I’ve been working on with the help of Photoshop and Illustrator, and it includes crime scene cleaners from the sequel to the video game Max Payne:
Oh, and speaking of. I should probably jump back into playing that game so that I can go on a mission to gun down the cleaners, mobsters and all sorts of enemies… again. 😛
Current Gaming Mood: Mario Golf 64
Last night I decided to install Project 64 just to test out some Nintendo 64 games, starting with Mario Golf 64. In this game, you can add all four golfers that were originally from the Game Boy Color version just by simply using the Transfer Pak and the Mario Golf GBC game paks to transfer them over, but it requires at least two game packs to transfer all 4 characters in the game:
Here’s a screenshot of what the gameplay looks like:
Your selected character is outside the golf course, and your objective is to swing the golf ball all the way to the hole in order to score points whether it’s a Bogey, Birdie, Eagle or a Hole-in-One if you’re extremely lucky.
I’d say this game is really fun to play but difficult to master and great for practice. The graphics in this game looked awesome for back in the day, and what I like about this game is that there are different modes to choose from; like Character Get, Ring Shots, Birdie Shots, etc. 🙂
The next games that I plan on playing are Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario 64.
