Have Another Sheet Of The Sprite Type

I forgot to put up this Game Boy sprite sheet of mine the other day. It contains title screen sprites from Chiki Chiki Tengoku:

Oh, and I also reached 3,000+ sprite sheets in my VG Resources profile:

Anyways, I’m heading off to do my celebration before doing the bed thing. Ciao!

Playing Some Tetris But With Japanese Fairies

I decided to check out a Japanese Tetris-based puzzle game for the Game Boy called Chiki Chiki Tengoku, and the main objective in this game is to line up 3 or more different objects that descend onto the playing field which turn into stars while clearing the remaining others. Once the player completes a row of stars or more, the stars turn into fairies and the other remaining stars will be cleared out. Here’s a screenshot of the actual gameplay:

Another thing in this game is that the fairies can’t fly away from the playing field until the objects above them are either turned into stars or cleared from play. This game has positive abilities such as object transformers and rockets, and it also has a negative ability which is a diamond-shaped piece of brick, and if you make a row of them it takes up part of the playing field. Oh no!

Anyways, I have managed to clear levels from 1-1 to 3-4. Hooray!

Oh, and what I like about this game is there’s an in-game screensaver where fairies keep flying upwards every time a player clears a level. I love it! 😀

I’m now on level 4-2 in this game, and I think I’ll call it here for tonight. But yeah, this is a pretty fun puzzle game made from Japan. 🙂

Smokey And The Terminator

I came back to playing Scribblenauts tonight, and I made two new workshop items involving fictional cybernetic robot characters:

The Terminator and the grey Mortal Kombat robot known as Smoke (LK-7T2)

They’re now added in my robot collection if anyone would be interested in checking it out. Anyways, I’m off to do more gaming adventures before entering sleep mode. Ta-ta for now!

The Payne Continues On

I decided to come back to playing a bit of Max Payne, and I was on Part 3, Chapter 5: In the Land of the Blind. I have started off in the courtyard after jumping out of the window when two Matrix guys entered the room and killed all the members of the Inner Circle inside the Asgard Building.

I have managed to annihilate a dozen mercenaries before finding a security camera, and saw that Alfred Woden had survived the massacre. A few bullets later, I discovered a videotape with an extortion note attached to it, suggesting Nicole Horne was blackmailing the Inner Circle into silence. I also discovered the Aesir Headquarters blueprints that Woden left me as a present and watched more news on TV with Kyra Silver. Then I found a room where there is a couch and a round carpet on the floor. On the opposite wall of the couch, there is a painting on the wall. So I walked up to the painting and started beating it up with a baseball bat, a button suddenly appears which opens the entrance to Woden’s secret room.

I finally found a secret Star Trek parody known as the The Void.

After I saw ‘The Void’ I opened up Woden’s closet and guess what I found?

Alfred Woden’s sex toys!

I got out of the secret room and headed to the lower levels of the building, killing any remaining mercenaries and Matrix guys who try to murder me, and went into the basement levels of the building to the sixth chapter of Part 3 which is Byzantine Power Game. Hooray! Now that would be good place to do a checkpoint the next time I try to beat this FPS game.

Playing A Game Of The Card Variety

I was checking out a Japanese Game Boy card game called Card Game. This game has 4 different games to choose from. Here are the screenshots of what I’m talking about:

Poker
Blackjack
U.S.A. Page 1 (which is sort of like Crazy Eights)
Fortune Telling

And as a result…

Oh, and here’s a sprite sheet that I’ve submitted to the Spriters Resource after playing this game:

But yeah, this is another fun card game from Japan. 😉

I Found An Easter Egg In Namco Museum Vol. 4

I was playing around a bit of Namco Museum Vol. 4 on my ePSXe emulator, and I was doing a trick by staring directly at the robot receptionist I met at the beginning.

Then I look all the way up to the ceiling and then back down. Here’s what happened afterwards:

Ta-da! I turned this robot receptionist into a female human, and if I could do the same trick while the human receptionist is available she will revert back to being a robot again.

I’d say this PlayStation game is awesome and super fun just like volumes 1, 2, 3 and 5. I love them all! 😀

And Now For Something Hilarious From Bawderlands Dos

I was playing some more Borderlands 2 this evening, and here’s a screenshot that I took after dealing with a group of bandits in Eridium Blight:

This poor Marauder somehow got his head and right arm stuck in the metal fence.

Yep, I always thought that was a really funny way to die. 😛
