The Wang has risen!
Tomala let me know that Shadow Warrior was free on Humble Bundle, so I went and grabbed a copy:
You play as Lo Wang, a legendary warrior who can kill enemies with his sword or guns, if he has ammunition. He can do other things like dash in any direction just by pressing the Shift key then pressing the usual W, S, A or D. If you hold the Shift key and press W, Wang will start to sprint until his stamina drops. I also like how you can slice and dice dead enemies into bits and pieces:
Another cool thing is when you press R while you’re equipped with the Penetrator [great name], it sputters like fireworks:
There are some special things in this game like Dark Crystals which give me Ki, an energy that allows me to learn or upgrade demonic powers. Other special things in this game are spirits from fallen creatures which give you health, karma to learn and upgrade my skills, and demon hearts that kills all demons from six meters away from me, which is demonically awesome. 😀 I made my way to Chapter 2 which is The Party Bus after killing dozens of enemy humans and demons in the first one, and then I took some screenshots of arcade machines plus the original classic Shadow Warrior arcade machine in the Prologue:
Not a bad game… I don’t think I’ll have to be too bored to play this again. 🙂
Some Moar Serious Sam Shenanigans
I’ve been playing some Serious Sam Fusion 2017 lately, and I have made my way past the Moon Mountains, the Oasis and the Dunes after fighting a bunch of monsters and obtaining the Water element in the First Encounter:
So now I’m in the Suburbs of Memphis after collecting all four elements, where I must know how to find and activate the Sirian Spaceship. It was a lot of fun being serious like Sam, hopefully I can reach the Sewers without getting killed by monsters, obstacles, etc. 😉
The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Cage
I took one of the screenshots from Mortal Kombat X where Johnny Cage uses his ‘Here’s Johnny’ fatality on his opponent, but I replaced his face with Jimmy Fallon’s face:
Now that would be an awesome introduction on The Tonight Show. 😛
Friday Late Night Fun with Sonic CD
I decided to dig into some Sonic CD with my Steam Controller tonight, and so far I got past Palmtree Panic and fought against Dr. Eggman (or Dr. Robotnik) in the first boss battle:
I like how this game has pink flowers when you destroy enemies unlike other Sonic games that have birds and bunnies:
Also, I got an achievement for traveling through time which kinda reminds me of the Back To The Future movies. It’s a great Sonic game, but not as great as Sonic Generations. But still it’s a great game. 😀
Some Portal 2 Stuff + Flower Shoggoth Rises To The Top
I decided to play some Portal 2 since it’s been awhile, and I made my way to Chapter 6 which is The Fall after dealing with GLaDOS. She is now a potato battery:
I think I’ll do more of that whenever I feel like it. 🙂 On another note I did get an achievement for saving this turret from redemption:
Oh, one more thing before I post this. I checked out the Scribblenauts Unlimited workshop after playing Portal 2, and somehow my Flower Shoggoth got all the way to the top of the first page:
I was super fascinated when I see that. 😀
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
Sorry for not posting yesterday due to my Slackers sites timing out while I was in the middle of writing a blog post. Anyway, I was using my tablet and Photoshop to draw a pic of a beheaded Kamikaze running in the desert:
I even uploaded it on Steam, click here to check it out from there and give it a thumbs up.
Cthulus and Shoggoths Galore
I made another Scribblenauts collection the other day. This time it’s a collection of Cthulus and Shoggoths that I made plus a few others made by other people in which I already gave credit to them.
Click here to check out my collection of Cthulus and Shoggoths.
Saturday Open Thread + Some Steam Controller Fun
My Steam controller arrived a few days ago. I thought I’d give this a shot by playing some Mortal Kombat X last night after I configured the settings on it. I should probably configure the controller settings for other games like Sonic, Serious Sam and Quake. I like how it has a Gyro setting on the controller so that you can use it to turn left and right, and look up and down in-game. 😀
Now I can use it to play fun games with Tomala on the HTPC in the living room. 😀 This is an Open Thread, so feel free to post comments if you wish.
It’s time to get serious!
After I played a bit of Serious Sam Fusion 2017 the other night, I created a Serious Sam collection in Scribblenauts. It has the main character plus some monsters and a few weapons. Click here to look at the collection. So far I have obtained three out of four elements and discovered a secret portal that teleports me to the secret door which leads me to Moon Mountains in the first encounter:
I think I’ll tear into this game some more whenever I feel like getting serious.
Playing The Expendabros on Murica’ Day
I decided to celebrate 4th of July by playing The Expendabros, and I have completed the game after tracking down the final boss and running from sawblades and a big red deadly beam to go on a helicopter ride:
I’ll plan on playing the original Broforce game someday so that I can unlock some Bros and go through some areas that are owned by Satan and his evil minions, and also some bosses like Terrorbot and Megacockter.
I hope everyone else has a Bromantic Murica’ Day. 😀
