The Payne Continues On
I decided to come back to playing a bit of Max Payne, and I was on Part 3, Chapter 5: In the Land of the Blind. I have started off in the courtyard after jumping out of the window when two Matrix guys entered the room and killed all the members of the Inner Circle inside the Asgard Building.
I have managed to annihilate a dozen mercenaries before finding a security camera, and saw that Alfred Woden had survived the massacre. A few bullets later, I discovered a videotape with an extortion note attached to it, suggesting Nicole Horne was blackmailing the Inner Circle into silence. I also discovered the Aesir Headquarters blueprints that Woden left me as a present and watched more news on TV with Kyra Silver. Then I found a room where there is a couch and a round carpet on the floor. On the opposite wall of the couch, there is a painting on the wall. So I walked up to the painting and started beating it up with a baseball bat, a button suddenly appears which opens the entrance to Woden’s secret room.
After I saw ‘The Void’ I opened up Woden’s closet and guess what I found?
I got out of the secret room and headed to the lower levels of the building, killing any remaining mercenaries and Matrix guys who try to murder me, and went into the basement levels of the building to the sixth chapter of Part 3 which is Byzantine Power Game. Hooray! Now that would be good place to do a checkpoint the next time I try to beat this FPS game.
Get Pinned By The Door Frame
I just remembered something while I was playing Max Payne from awhile back. Here’s a screenshot of a glitch where a Punchinello mobster was stuck on the door frame back in the fifth level of Part 1:
Yep, I’d thought that was a funny glitch right there. ๐ Oh, and speaking of Max Payne I should probably get back into this game one of these days and finish off the rest of the mercenaries, killer suits and the notoriously evil Nicole Horne.
Let’s Talk More About Max Payne
After my family and I got back from getting vaccines shots and groceries last night, I decided to celebrate by playing some Max Payne since it’s been a long time.
I left off at Cold Steel factory where I fought against 187 mercenaries, then I made my way to the D-6 medical research facility with dozens of dead scientists. After that I escaped from the explosions that Michael Bay created, and then I ran into an evil DEA agent known as B.B., who awaits me in his own parking garage, and then I managed to murder him and his crew.
And now I’m at the point where I’m in the land of the blind. ๐
Current Illustrator Mood: Squeaky Cleaning Company
Yesterday I got bored so I did some Adobe Illustrator and made my own version of the crime scene cleaning company logo based on the one from the video game Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Here’s a picture of what I’m talking about:
The reason why is because it just doesn’t hurt to do so… but cleaners with guns do though. ๐
Current Gaming Mood: Max Payne 2
Instead of playing some TF2 or GMod I decided to play around some Max Payne 2 since it’s been a while. Although the game is Max Payne and you play as Max, for four levels you play as another character named Mona Sax. Here are some screenshots of things during the gameplay:
It’s an old game but what I like about Max Payne 2 are the ragdoll physics:
I have managed to battle my way against dozens of gun-toting cleaners including the boss cleaner named Kaufman. I made my way to the Prologue level in the Part 2 where Max Payne is at the police station. There he pays a visit to Mona Sax, who’s being locked up in a jail cell for murdering some cleaners.
Now to think about what to play next… ๐
In tonight’s post: Meet the Female Cleaners
Here’s what I’ve been working on with the help of Photoshop and Illustrator, and it includes crime scene cleaners from the sequel to the video game Max Payne:
Oh, and speaking of. I should probably jump back into playing that game so that I can go on a mission to gun down the cleaners, mobsters and all sorts of enemies… again. ๐
HEH HEH FIRE FIRE!!!
I forgot to put this Max Payne artwork up yesterday. It’s a group of flaming junkies with some fiery 3D text above it:
Yep, I love watching V-head junkies burn in-game. ๐
Payne In The @$$
I took a few interesting screenshots while blowing stuff up in Max Payne tonight:
