Thursday Evening Open Thread
Sorry for not posting yesterday, I was too busy making my comic project and other things. Either way, this evening turned out to be decent today. I’ve been doing some bathroom floor cleaning upstairs and downstairs lately because it’s a dirty job and it needs to be done, and I have also done the bathroom sinks too. So now I’m going to have my Dad bleach the inside of both upstairs and downstairs bathroom toilets because they’re starting to get dirty and smelly, and after I got all my bathroom work done my family and I chowed down on some burgers and french fries that we ordered from a fast food restaurant for dinner. That was some good finger-licking fast food. 🙂
Oh, while I was watching TV earlier this afternoon I whipped out my camera and snap’d a cute photo of Morty hiding under the blanket on the couch like he always does:
Thursday Afternoon Open Thread: Movin’ on up!
San_San and I went to go see our friendly family member this afternoon to help move stuff from their old house and shed to their new house and then clean their old house up afterwards. After we got our job done over there, Papa Smurf and I went to a lumber yard and picked up some 2×4 wood so that he can work on them by drilling a few screws in proper positions, saw a few of them in half, etc.
Then after we went home we had some delicious chicken quesadillas for dinner. It was delicious
Either way, it sure was nice to see our friendly elderly family members once again. 🙂 Open thread!
Saturday Afternoon Yard work Open Thread
Today is a breezy but nice day, Papa Smurf and I went out in the backyard to bag up piles of yard waste such as twigs, pinecones, pine needles, etc. I was taking control of the bags while he uses the shovel to put the crap in them. It only took about 20 to 30 minutes to get it done, and so far we bagged up a total of seven bags of yard garbage.
Open Thread.
Cleaning up the backyard
My dad and I were cleaning up our backyard today because we want to let our cat Morty outside. But we won’t let him out yet, because he always gets lost. One time, my dad found him in the culvert over the fence, and he’s tired of trying to catch him.
I helped him rake the dead brown grass while he was dealing with the hollies, and I also helped him fill garbage bags with dead grass, dead leaves, twigs, branches, etc.
I took pictures of our yard work:
We still need to get it done though. 🙂
