Let’s talk about Mortal Kombat X
My sister Tomala got me Mortal Kombat X as a gift for my birthday about a couple weeks ago. I decided to get out my controller to practice for a while, and I was getting better at doing random Kombos with different characters I was using like Kung Lao, Sonya Blade, Bo’ Rai Cho, etc.
This is a great 3D Mortal Kombat game, and what I like about this game are the brutalities and faction kills.
I also like different towers to choose from like the original Klassic, Test Your Might, Endless, Survivor and Test Your Luck. I was thinking about getting a Steam controller one of these days, but I’m going to wait for the price to go down on that thing.
Friday Evening Open Thread
Today is a cold, rainy evening here. My sister Tomala made us grilled ham and Swiss cheese sandwiches for breakfast this morning.
I got to admit, they’re really delicious. 🙂 Then I got on the Roku this afternoon to play games for a little bit, and catch up to my favorite TV shows on Hulu for a few hours after that. I sure had a good afternoon today. 😀

I went on YouTube this evening to watch a couple of Dorkly videos involving Megaman and Mario.
They’re really hilarious. I mostly like the part where Megaman is using the Portal gun to finish off various enemies. 😛

Monday Evening Open Thread
Not much to report tonight. My family and I are having a great dinner for my belated birthday at the local Irish Pub. We were having some fish and chips, and I ordered my first cocktail. It was a Dizzy Leprechaun, it tasted like Girl Scout Cookies with a good whiskey taste to it. 🙂 Oh, and last night I found some YouTube videos of different NES hacks that involve penises:
My most favorite part is Scrooge McDuck using his penis to jump instead of his cane in DickTales. 😛

I’ve been adding some Monty Python to Scribblenauts last night, and still, nobody expects The Spanish Inquisition.
It was one of my favorite classic sketches on that show. 😛
Evening Open Thread
I was playing games on the Roku because I was bored. I played a couple of games like Tetris and Color Swap ‘n Drop for about an hour and a half, and I sure had a lot of fun. 🙂 Then I went to Hulu to watch my favorite TV shows like The Good Place and Superstore. Here’s what the two shows look like:
The Good Place is a fantasy comedy about a woman who is in a utopia called “The Good Place” after she got struck and killed by a tractor-trailer. I like how the actors and actresses use fake curse words like shirt instead of shit, fork instead of fuck, etc. 😛
And Superstore is a single-camera sitcom TV show about a group of workers who are working at a big-box store called “Cloud 9”.
This female assistant store manager is named Dina Fox, and she is tough as nails. I like her because she’s the strongest female character in the show, and I also like how she uses her phrases like “Shut up, Sandra!”, “Elias! That’s not how you use the ladder, you mother[bleep]ing turd!”, etc. 😛
So yeah, things are going well today. 😉
