It’s Time To Press Your Luck!

Last night I was playing an old computer game called Press Your Luck, which is based on an old game show starring Peter Tomarken. Here’s a screenshot of the gameplay:

As you can see, there’s lots of cash and prizes on the board, also some Whammies which will take all your money away. I was playing as Contestant #2 against two computer players in this computer game.

This keeps track of the players’ spins, money and Whammies (and if you hit four of them, you’re out of the game just like Kip.) I passed my last two spins over to Olivia in the final round of the game.

I managed to avoid hitting a single Whammy throughout the whole game and got a dastardly close victory with $8,300 in cash because Olivia picked up $500 + an extra spin, a Mexican cruise valued at $3,976, and a Heritage Tour valued at $2,634 which that wasn’t enough for her to win the game.

Yeah, it’s good to be the champion of this computer game. I just wish all that cash I’ve won was real because that’d be nice. 🙂

Fun with Family Feud for the Game Boy Advance

Last night I decided to check out Family Feud for the GBA. Here’s a screenshot of the gameplay:

Unfortunately nobody in the survey said that and the game gave me a strike because I was thinking of TF2 for a moment.

Either way, I have managed to defeat the computer family and beat the game by scoring 200+ points in the bonus round and winning the $20,000 grand prize:

This game is alright but definitely not my cup of tea even though I finished it. However; what I like about this game is you can customize family members and also edit their names:

But yeah, it takes all types to play this fun game. 😉

Aiming For A Million Dollars

I decided to check out Who Wants To Be A Millionaire: 2nd Edition for the Game Boy Color! It’s based off of the TV game show where the objective is to correctly answer all 15 questions in a row and win $1,000,000 just like the show.

You have three life lines which are 50/50, Phone-a-Friend and Poll the Audience in case you get stuck on a question that you don’t know just like the show. Anyways, I’ve mastered all 15 questions and won a paycheck of $1,000,000. Hooray! 😀

After the game is over, the leaderboard will pop up and show you your score:

That was a fun game to play. I just wish the money was real. 😉

Monday Late Night Open Thread: The Price Is Not Right

After I played some GBA games on VisualBoyAdvance this evening, I found this video from Saturday Night Live where four famous celebrities are competing alongside their contestants in the celebrity edition of The Price Is Right:

Wow, that Sofia Vergara impression is super awesome, and I laughed my ass off when Drew Carey asked Sofia “What movie are you here to promote?”, and she said “Pepsi” while she’s holding a Pepsi soda can. 😛
