Welcome to the Metro (again)

I played some Metro 2033 Redux last night, and it looks quite similar to the original. What I like about this game is it has various features throughout the game like notes that are scattered around in different areas, keys and safes, weapon customizing, and it even has a feature that I can wipe blood off my gas mask. Now that is bloody good! πŸ™‚ The graphics in this game look so nice just like in the original. Some weapons have different firing sounds like the automatic shotgun and the AK-47, and Artyom’s voice sounded completely different compared to the original.

I was hoping for Metro Exodus to become available soon so I can add it to my Steam library.

The Wang has returned (again)

My most favorite fortune cookie quote of all. πŸ˜›

Been playing around some Shadow Warrior lately, and I managed to complete the seventh chapter and moved on to the eighth one where I’m trying to solve the rail car puzzle by pulling any one of the three levers inside the train station:

Now I just to need to keep pulling the three levers and hopefully the rail cars are in their spots so that I can kick some demon butt. πŸ˜€

MOAR WANG!

I finally managed to defeat the giant evil minotaur known as Gozu in the sixth chapter of Shadow Warrior since it’s been awhile, and I got an achievement for that too:

So now I’m on Chapter 7, ‘You Should See The Other Guy’, and I found a shotgun on the emergency exit doors along the way:

I think I’ll continue my Wang-tastic adventure whenever I feel like playing this game. πŸ™‚

Playing around with some Quake (again)

I decided to torture myself by playing some Quake tonight, and so far I made my way to Limbo after fighting off dozens of enemies in Pandemonium. I even took various screenshots that are really epic:

Alxala used Thunderbolt! It’s super effective!

This Vore is floating in mid-air.

Knight Battle to the Death!

My Shambler companion is beating the hell out of that Vore.

Now I just need to make my way to Armagon’s Lair, so I can track him down and kick his ass. But that will wait until the next time I play this game. πŸ™‚

Metro 2033 Friday Night Fun Fest

I dug back into some more Metro 2033 tonight, and so far I have successfully ninja’d my way past the enemy bandits to find Bourbon, who had been shot and killed by a bandit:

R. I. P. Bourbon πŸ™

Here Khan guides me to the subway station where we encounter ghostly silhouettes which can kill you in seconds if you get too close to them. We also shot down more nosalises on the way while looking for guns and ammunition scattered in hidden areas:

The Ghost Train

On another note I did get an achievement for completing levels ‘Ghosts’ and ‘Anomaly’ without dying. By the way, I had fun playing stealth ninja and nosalis hunter. πŸ™‚

Shub-Niggurath is no more (again).

I decided to tear into some Quake tonight and managed to obtain all four runes so that I can face off against the final boss known as Shub-Niggurath. The only way to kill Shub-Niggurath is to wait for the spiky ball teleporter to go inside of her, then run to the portal to go inside her and she’ll explode:

Goodbye Shub-Niggurath!

BOOM! She’s been blown up.

I’ll check out some Quake mods that I will try out like Hipnotiq and Rogue but that’ll have to wait until I feel like playing Quake again. But at least the final boss fight was bloody fun. πŸ˜€

Some Moar Serious Sam Shenanigans

I’ve been playing some Serious Sam Fusion 2017 lately, and I have made my way past the Moon Mountains, the Oasis and the Dunes after fighting a bunch of monsters and obtaining the Water element in the First Encounter:

So now I’m in the Suburbs of Memphis after collecting all four elements, where I must know how to find and activate the Sirian Spaceship. It was a lot of fun being serious like Sam, hopefully I can reach the Sewers without getting killed by monsters, obstacles, etc. πŸ˜‰

It’s time to get serious!

After I played a bit of Serious Sam Fusion 2017 the other night, I created a Serious Sam collection in Scribblenauts. It has the main character plus some monsters and a few weapons. Click here to look at the collection. So far I have obtained three out of four elements and discovered a secret portal that teleports me to the secret door which leads me to Moon Mountains in the first encounter:

I think I’ll tear into this game some more whenever I feel like getting serious.

The Dopefish Lives!

I took a screenshot of a secret Dopefish that I found while I was playing Quake today:

I thought that was a cool thing to see. πŸ˜€ Anyway, I have completed the first chapter in the game by obtaining the first rune and defeating a giant lava monster known as Chthon. So now I’m in the second chapter of the game and I made it to the Ebon Fortress so far. I will continue playing more of this tomorrow.

Moar Metro 2033 Madness

I played a bit of Metro 2033 yesterday, and I have made my way to the market with Bourbon after fighting a horde of nosalises:

While we’re there I found a gun shop to see if they got any good weapons, ammunition and other supplies:

I only bought an automatic shotgun for 57 bullets (they’re also used for currency). This puppy can hold a maximum of five shells so you BLAM BLAM BLAM the enemies with it. πŸ™‚

So far Bourbon and I have reached the dead city to check for supplies and hunt down more nosalises along the way. I hope there’s special weapons around the dead city like a revolver with a silencer or a rifle stock and an air gun that shoots like a pistol, then that would be nice. πŸ™‚
